
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) is making available to the public the final environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for biological control of invasive knotweeds in Alaska. The EA is titled "Field Release of the Knotweed Psyllid Aphalara itadori (Hemiptera: Psyllidae) for Classical Biological Control of Japanese, Giant, and Bohemian Knotweeds, Fallopia japonica, F. sachalinensis, and F. x bohemica (Polygonaceae), in Alaska".
