Request for Proposals-Audit Services Baranof Island Housing Authority (BIHA) in Sitka, AK is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide Financial Audit Services for the years ending September 30, 2026, 2027 and 2028. BIHA is the Tribally Designated Housing Entity for Sitka Tribe of Alaska and administers an Indian Housing Block Grant that is a federally funded program. Audit services must be in conformance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and all authoritative pronouncements, statements, and standards including, but not limited to The Single Audit Act, State of Alaska 2 AAC 45.010, 2 CFR 200 Subpart F and NAHASDA. Preference points will be given to qualified Alaska Native, American Indian and Minority individuals and firms. Proposals must be received by 12:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2026.
