REQUEST FOR BIDS LINE EXTENSION CLEARING SERVICES SOUTH DISTRICT – UNIT PRICED Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide clearing and grubbing services on an 'as needed' basis supporting HEA's distribution line extension projects. Bids will be unit priced, based on the length of Rights of Way (ROW) to be cleared or cleared and grubbed. Services will be rendered within HEA ROWs on both public and private property. HEA is not responsible for any costs contractors incur while developing a bid. Services will be provided within HEA's SOUTHERN district, extending from Ninilchik, AK south to include the communities of Homer, Anchor Point, Nikolaevsk, and extending to East End Road and including connecting roads. To qualify, responders must, as a minimum, be licensed in the State of Alaska as a General Contractor and provide proof of insurance as follows: General (Commercial) Liability Insurance - $2,000,000 Business Auto Liability Insurance - $1,000,000 Workers' Compensation with Employer's Liability coverage of not less than $1,000,000 To obtain an RFB package, vendors must register to download the package at HEA's website: https://www.homerelectric.com/bids/.
