REQUEST FOR BIDS HEA System CWDG ROW Re-Clearing Services – Phase II & III Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide Right of Way (ROW) Re-Clearing and "Danger Tree" clearing and tree trimming services under and around the HEA distribution overhead and underground lines. The Contractor shall not perform work within dangerous proximity to energized circuits, and such work is excluded from the scope of work. This Project is a two (2) year term funded by the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry & Fire Protection Community Wildfire Defense Grant ("CWDG"). Work on Phase II must be completed no later than November 15, 2026, and work on Phase III must be completed by November 15, 2027. HEA is not responsible for any costs contractors incur while developing a bid. Bidders must submit evidence of qualifications as part of their bid submittal. Qualifications include but are not limited to being licensed in the State of Alaska as a General Contractor, having prior experience providing similar services, providing qualified personnel, have an OSHA compliant safety program, and provide proof of the following minimum insurance coverages: General (Public) Liability Insurance - $2,000,000 Auto Liability Insurance - $1,000,000 Workers' Compensation / Employers' Liability Insurance To obtain an RFB package, vendors must register to download the package from HEA's website: https://www.homerelectric.com/bids/.
