REQUEST FOR BIDS Construction Staking, Kenai Spur Hwy Phase II Relocation Project Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA) is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to provide construction survey and field staking services to locate proposed HEA facilities for the Department of Transportation & Public Facilities project CFHWY00253 – Kenai Spur Highway Rehab: Sports Lake Road to Swires Road – Phase II. Work on this project is expected to start in the early spring of 2026. HEA is not responsible for any costs incurred by contractors while developing a bid. All contractors must possess a valid Alaska Professional Land Surveyor license to be considered for this project. Bidders are required to provide proof of the following minimum insurance coverages: * Workers' Compensation with Employer's Liability Insurance of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. * Commercial General Liability Insurance of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, with no less than $2,000,000 aggregate limit. * Business Automobile Liability Insurance covering owned, hired or otherwise procured or operated non-owned vehicles/equipment with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence/accident for personal/bodily injury and property damage.
