REQUEST FOR BIDS 2026 Vegetation Management Contract Spraying Services Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA) and its subsidiary, Alaska Electric & Energy Cooperative, Inc. (AEEC) are seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide annual contract spraying services to power generation and substation outdoor yards. HEA and AEEC are not responsible for any costs incurred by contractors while developing a bid. Services to be provided will be within HEA's service territory on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. To qualify, contractors must as a minimum hold a current business license in the State of Alaska, and individual(s) performing the work must be certified with the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Pesticide Control Program for the class of herbicides to be applied, and provide proof of insurance as follows: General (Public) Liability Insurance - $2,000,000 Auto Liability Insurance - $1,000,000 Workers' Compensation with Employer's Liability coverage of not less than $1,000,000 To obtain a RFB package vendors must register to download the package at HEA's website: https://www.homerelectric.com/bids/.
