­Public Comment and Hearing Notice Alaska Housing Finance Corporation Moving to Work Plan and Capital Fund Program The public is invited to participate in a 30-day public comment period and a statewide teleconference to provide comments on the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) FY2027 Moving to Work (MTW) Plan and Capital Fund Program. No password is required. Section 230 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008 designates AHFC as an MTW agency. The MTW designation allows AHFC to waive parts of the 1937 Housing Act and regulations to address local needs. Requested waivers are detailed in the Plan. The Plan also outlines general information about resources and operations of the AHFC Public Housing Department.
