PUBLIC NOTICE The Matanuska-Susitna Borough Planning Director will consider the following: James Calovich, Owner, applied for a Determination of Legal Nonconforming Status (MSB 17.80) according to MSB 17.80.070 for a commercial structure located at 8431 W Parks Hwy, Tax ID # 52735000L002. At its closest point, one structure is set back less than 5 feet from highway easement, and another structure is approximately 10 feet from the highway easement. Structures are required to be set back a minimum of 25 feet from a public use easement. Granting a determination of Legal Nonconforming Status (amnesty) will permit the structure to remain in its current location.
