
Notice of Intent to Begin Integrated Pest Management Plan Activity In accordance with the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPM), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to use herbicide as a maintenance tool to treat orange hawkweed, oxeye daisy, and creeping thistle within DOT&PF rights-of-way in the town of Cold Bay. A single treatment is proposed for select infestations of invasive plants adjacent to the following roadways: Reeve Ave, Russell Creek Road, Flying Tiger Way, and on the Cold Bay Airport. Roundup Custom (EPA #524-343) and Milestone (EPA# 62719-519) will be applied using hand-held equipment.
