Notice of Herbicide Use at the Tesoro Logistics Operations LLC Ocean Dock Terminal and Pipeline Receiving Station Tesoro Logistics Operations LLC (TLO) operates a bulk fuel storage facility located at 1076 Ocean Dock Road, Anchorage Alaska, 99501 and a pipeline receiving station located at 1330 Port Road, Anchorage, Alaska, 99501. TLO plans to apply herbicide at these locations between the months of June and October 2026. Purpose and Location of Application: The application of herbicide is necessary to control vegetation growth within tank farms, rail rack loading areas, pipeline receiving station, and along fence line locations. Under the Alaska Administrative Code, secondary containment in these areas is required to be free of excess vegetation as to not interfere with the effectiveness of the system. In addition, the fence line must be free of excess vegetation to provide clear lines of sight for facility security. Herbicide is used as part of an Integrated Pest Management Plan.
