
NOTICE JOINT AGENCY & PUBLIC MEETING IGIUGIG VILLAGE COUNCIL IGIUGIG HYDROKINETIC PROJECT (FERC NO. 13511) Igiugig Village Council (IVC) will host a Joint Agency & Public Meeting and site visit opportunity on February 12, 2026, to discuss the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) relicensing of the Igiugig Hydrokinetic Project (Project, FERC No. 13511) and the submittal of the Pre-Application Document (PAD) on October 29th, 2025. The Project is located on the Kvichak River in the Village of Igiugig, Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The purpose of the meeting is to: 1) provide information about the Project and licensing process; 2) solicit information regarding the existing environmental resources associated with the Project and data that may need to be obtained; and 3) obtain agency and stakeholder opinions regarding the Project and its potential effect on existing resources. The meeting will be held at 10 am AKST, Thursday, February 12, 2026. The meeting will be hosted both in-person and virtually on Microsoft Teams. In-person attendees have the option to join at the IVC Office, 1 N Airport Way, Igiugig, AK 99613, or at ORPC's Anchorage Office, RSD Co-Work, 911 W 8th Ave #101, Anchorage, AK 99501. A tour of the Project facilities will directly follow the meeting in Igiugig for interested participants. All attendees must RSVP by February 5, 2026, regardless of attendance plan. Given the remote location of the Igiugig site and the winter timeframe of this meeting, a site visit RSVP is strictly required.
