
NOTICE OF PROPOSED REGULATION CHANGES REGARDING PHARMACY BENEFITS MANAGER GRIEVANCES AND APPEALS IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE DIVISION OF INSURANCE BRIEF DESCRIPTION The Alaska Division of Insurance proposes new regulations to address grievances and appeals from adverse pricing adjustments and claim denials by pharmacy benefits managers. The Alaska Division of Insurance proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with pharmacy benefits manager grievances and appeals. 3 AAC 23 is proposed to be amended by adding new sections 3 AAC 23.870 - 3 AAC 23.939 with respect to grievances and appeals from adverse pricing adjustments or claim denials by pharmacy benefits managers. You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons in complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to Heather Carpenter, P.O.
