NOTICE OF INTENT TO BEGIN INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT PLAN ACTIVITY In accordance with the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan, Alien Species Control, LLC intends to use herbicide to control the invasive plants European bird cherry (Prunus padus), white sweetclover (Melilotus albus), oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare), yellow toadflax (Linaria vulgaris), orange hawkweed (Hieracium auranticum), and bird vetch (Vicia cracca) in the Susitna Flats State Game Refuge. Treatment locations include Lewis River A, C, & D pads; Stump Lake Pad; Ivan River Pad; access roads to those pads; banks along the Little Susitna River; and Little Susitna River boat launch and campground. Milestone (EPA No. 62719-519) and Aquamaster (EPA No. 524-343) will be applied by certified applicators using hand-held equipment or backpack sprayers.
