ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICE OF PROPOSED TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER GCI Communication Corp (GCI) would like to place on notice a proposal to construct a new telecommunications facility. The new facility will consist of a 105-foot self-supported lattice tower (124 feet above mean sea level) with antennas as well as ground-mounted support equipment, including new underground power and fiber optic cable, located in Quinhagak, AK 99655 (59°45'00.6" North latitude and 161°54'09.5" West longitude). The tower is not required by the FAA to be lit. The application for this proposed project can be viewed at www.fcc.gov/asr/applications by entering the ASR file# A1327013. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review (Request) with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) within 30 days after notice is posted on the FCC's website.
