
ENVIRONMENTAL AND SECTION 106 NOTICE OF PROPOSED TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER The Alaska Wireless Network, LLC (AWN) would like to place on notice a proposed telecommunications tower located at 59° 57' 36.67" North latitude and 162° 53' 12.95" West longitude located within the community of Kongiganak, AK 99559. The tower is proposed to be a non-lit 92-foot lattice tower, with an overall heigh including all appurtenances not to exceed 96 feet (115 feet above mean sea level). The application for this proposed project can be viewed at www.fcc.gov/asr/applications by entering the ASR file# A1376164. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review (Request) with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) within 30 days after notice is posted on the FCC's website. The FCC strongly encourages interested parties to file a Request online. Instructions for making such filings can be found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest.
