
ENVIRONMENTAL AND SECTION 106 NOTICE OF PROPOSED TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER The Alaska Wireless Network, LLC (AWN) would like to place on notice a proposed telecommunications tower located at 55° 20' 36.67" North latitude and 160° 29' 25.29" West longitude located at the end of Sandy Lane – Plat 77-2, AK 99661. The tower is proposed to be a 148 foot (316 feet above mean sea level) Lattice Tower, that may require FAA Style A Red Lights. The application for this proposed project can be viewed at www.fcc.gov/asr/applications by entering the ASR file# A1376385. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review (Request) with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) within 30 days after notice is posted on the FCC's website. The FCC strongly encourages interested parties to file a Request online. Instructions for making such filings can be found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest.
