The Work consists of above ground and shallow bury arctic water main and services with arctic box connections for 7 homes. This includes two new fire hydrants, and isolation valves. The above ground water main will be supported by on-grade sleepers. The existing water and sewer main will be capped and abandoned in place. Existing fire hydrant, cleanouts and service barrels will be removed. The project is known as AIN W&S Blair Street Mains Upgrade, Wainwright, Alaska, CIP #59163. Deadline for bid submittal is on or before April 23, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 4:00 p.m. at the upstairs CIPM conference room at 1689 Okpik Street, Barrow, AK.
