PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Proposed Issuance of an Alaska Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (APDES) General Permit to Discharge to Waters of the United States The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has tentatively determined to reissue a discharge permit for the activity described below. Permit Nbr and Name: AKR100000 Storm Water Construction General Permit Proposed Project and Location: The ADEC proposes to reissue an Alaska Construction General Permit (the permit) for discharges from large and small construction activities. The permit authorizes and sets conditions on the discharge of pollutants from construction projects to waters of the United States. To ensure protection of water quality and human health, the permit describes control measures that must be used to control the types and amounts of pollutants that can be discharged from construction activities.
